Deborah De Luca has had as fast an ascent as any DJ in recent years, but her path to dance music’s upper echelons hasn’t been without a fair amount of graft. The Neapolitan DJ and producer has been quietly honing her sound for the best part of a decade, cutting her teeth playing gigs around the north of Italy. Today she’s more used to performing in front of large-scale crowds at some of Europe’s key clubs and festivals, where she’s usually found dropping finely-polished techno with big climaxes. The same sound can be heard through her productions, most of which have landed via her label Sola_mente. She delves into some of these cuts on her mix for us, which drops just in time for her all night long set at Forms.
